Week C at the Congress of Deputies
We present the first results after a year of work. On November 14, a public event brought together over 200 individuals from various communities, including 176 scientists, 30 legislators and advisors, and the press.

From November 14 to November 17, the Congress of Deputies held "Week C," which included a presentation of the first Reports C and the launch of the science-policy pairing scheme.
Week C started on November 14 with a public event in the Ernest Lluch Hall of the Congress of Deputies. More than 200 scientists, politicians (MPs and advisors), and members of the press attended.
President of the Congress Meritxell Batet, accompanied by vice presidents of the Congress Bureau, opened the event. Following that, Oficina C presented the objectives, working method, and first scientific evidence reports, now available. Furthermore, the pairing program's pairs were made public: ten scientists who shared their knowledge and experiences over the next few days with ten deputies from all parliamentary groups. Imma Agilar, director general of the FECYT, closed the event.
The pairing's scientific staff received training on how to provide scientific advice on November 15, and they had the opportunity to shadow their assigned Deputy's workday on November 16.
In addition, on November 16, Team C led the "Dialogues C," closed-door meetings that allowed Deputies and experts to share ideas and common challenges.
The Week C concluded on November 17 to the Energy, Environmental, and Technological Research Centre (CIEMAT) in Madrid attended by 50 people, including members of the pairing programme, Deputies, congressional advisors, and CIEMAT management.
