Next week, Oficina C will launch the second edition of this pairing scheme, following the very positive response to the first call, which attracted over 500 expressions of interest.

The application deadline for interested research staff is between March 21 at 12 p.m. CET and March 28 at 12 p.m. CET. ALL information regarding the selection criteria, programme conditions, and application form can be found HERE.

This programme aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between scientific and technological professionals and members of Congress.

The pairing programme aims to link members of Congress with researchers from all disciplines who are active in the field of science and technology in Spain. The selected scientific staff will spend three days at the Congress of Deputies, where they will attend training sessions on scientific advice and work alongside a member of each parliamentary group.

The ten selected researchers, at any stage of their careers, will learn about the inner workings of the Spanish Congress and the duties of the Oficina C. In turn, deputies will be given the chance to strengthen their ties to the science and technology sector in Spain.
