Workshop with the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT) of Panama

The session was held on January 16-17. During the first virtual session, the coordinators of Oficina C highlighted the institution's structure, inner workings, and products. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and express concerns.

On the second day, evidence officers from Oficina C delivered a virtual session on producing scientific evidence reports for legislative purposes. This session focused on the early stages of writing the Reports C, diving into various areas of their content and format to allow efficient communication to legislators. In addition, the meeting also served to explore the possible differences between the Spanish and Panamanian contexts.

Attendees enthusiastically participated on both days, contributing to enriching discussions.

SENACYT promotes and coordinates public policies linked to science, technology, and innovation in Panama. During the discussion, the scientific community expressed a strong interest in investigating the feasibility of establishing a similar office model in their country.
